We've been away from the computer and the phone and the interweb lately and I'm loving it.
Instead we've been having pool parties, weekends at the cabin, and afternoons playing in the backyard.
Newborns are becoming babies, and babies are becoming toddlers.
Tiny green shoots are turning in to leafy tomato plants full of blooms, and the smell of fresh basil wafts from the small garden along the garage.
I know it sounds idyllic, but we've also been busy with temper tantrums, nasty dipes from an almost-all-fishy-cracker diet, and trying to keep the sand out of the house.
Our summers are short and so they must be soaked in with fervor and focus which leaves little time for taking photos of it, writing about it, or reflecting on the lessons of it. Right now we're just living it - and to the full.
Happy summer, friends.
